Dark Spring

Dark Spring

Although the first few months of spring saw a haphazard inconsistency in temperature, it looks like the warm weather is here to finally stay. Sunshine and flowers walk hand in hand with picnics, long walks, and music festivals galore. This emergence of spring and summer goodness typically brings about an array of equally cheerful and innocent fashion choices. The dark and sophisticated hues of winter are shoved aside in lieu of pastels, bright colors and floral prints. It can be quite refreshing to don a colorful outfit and revel in the magical beauty of spring; however, I do not promote the concept of letting one’s noir attire collect dust until the leaves are once again upon the ground with the crisp winds of autumn. Dark colors are eternally classic and can be worn appropriately during every season.
