Veterans Day 2016

Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg held a Veterans Day ceremony to honor those who served and to celebrate the life and service of alumnus U.S. Army Captain Shane Mahaffee. Widener Law Commonwealth announced a scholarship established in Mahaffee's name through the gift from Widener University trustee Vito R. Verni. Additionally, the General Carl E. Mundy, Jr., USMC (Ret.) and Linda Sloan Mundy Marine Scholarship was presented. Remarks were given by Dean Christian Johnson, Col. Robert J. DeSousa, Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. Mike Stack, Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justic Debra McCloskey Todd, Skip Mahaffee and Texas Supreme Court Justice Don Willett.  The Susquehanna H.S.
