"Oh, yes, there were breaks, but they weren’t very long,” says Nancy Hutchison. That is one way that the Scotland native remembers the famed Blitz of WWII. She came of age as Europe convulsed into its second major conflict within two decades. Now 91 years of age, Hutchison resides comfortably in her Lower Paxton Township apartment, the last surviving of nine children.
