Wednesday, December 3rd at 7pm:

 

The final Episode of Season 7: "Fiction" Hosted by Paul Nagle and Sean Matthews.

What makes a compelling story? How do artists disrupt everyday reality in the service of revealing subtler truths? This episode features artists who explore the virtues of ambiguity, mix genres, and merge aesthetic disciplines to discern not simply what stories mean, but how and why they come to have meaning.

First Friday, December 5th @7pm: "New Abstraction: 3 Select" Artist's  Reception &

Classical Pianist Nathan Wellington Lackey​

Nathan Wellington Lackey studied music at Temple University, and has several musical incarnations. 
On this particular First Friday, December 5th, at 7pm, he will be performing a variety of Classical piano music in the front gallery at Metropolis Collective. 

This is his first ever public piano recital, and he will be playing works by a variety of composers including Beethoven, Bartok, Gershwin and Brahms.
This will be taking place during Metropolis' new art exhibit, "New Abstraction: Three Select" featuring local artists Paul Nagle , Sean MatthewsAngie White Rubinic and Daniel Kalbach.​

 

Sunday, December 14th at 3pm:

This will be a very special ALL AGES Acoustic performance, and the Jellybricks' second appearance at Metropolis Collective!
They will be joined by special guest Andy Bopp (Myracle Brah, Love Nut) from Baltimore, MD. 

 

This show will certainly be a good time, high on energy and good-natured sarcasm. The Jellybricks are one of Central Pa's longest running and Best-Loved bands!

Downtown Christmas Music Showcase Featuring Heart for Hire, Jack Poole and the Host Band, Hunter Lyons Music, and Forget Me Not. 

 

This All Ages show is free and open to the public, with donations graciously accepted for the performers.

 

We have no idea what to expect, But it's going to be a great time, with lots of small gifts and artwork available for purchase!
