On Sunday November 16 at 2 pm, Irene Berman Levine and Sam Levine will host a Charity Auction to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Research Institute (MSRI) in partnership with Cordier Auctions in Harrisburg, PA.  100% of the proceeds will benefit MSRI in their efforts to determine the cause of and find better treatments for Multiple Sclerosis.

The MSRI’s mission is to FIND, STOP and CURE MS.  Its founder, Jeffrey Greenstein, M.D., has devoted his life to MS.  Irene Berman-Levine, a patient of Dr. Greenstein, is a board member of the MSRI and has set a goal to raise $20,000 to underwrite the cost of a research assistant to staff a state of the art laboratory.

Donations are currently being accepted.  Items sought for auction include antiques, collectibles, gift certificates, jewelry, and vehicles.  Items already contributed include a 1958 London taxi cab, coins and currency, and an antique cash register.  Irene is donating part of her antique toy collection for this endeavor as the MSRI research could save her life and the lives of all who suffer with auto-immune diseases.
