Community News: Shipoke Grounddog Day Celebration

While Punxsutawney celebrates Groundhog Day this winter, Harrisburg’s riverfront Shipoke neighborhood will hold its annual Grounddog Day celebration featuring “Shipoke Sheena,” our own furry prognosticator. The event, open to the public, is set for 10:00 am on Saturday, January 31, 2015, in the Conoy Street Kiddie Park (corner of Race and Conoy Streets). The event will feature a ceremony in which Sheena will make a prediction about the weather. The Art Association of Harrisburg's 2015 Bal Masque
