Always the third Thursday in June, it’s perfectly timed, just after school lets out, and just as the days are getting long and warm. I have been going to Jubilee Day since I was a kid. I remember distinctly parking at what is now the Joseph T. Simpson Public Library (then, a craft store,) and spending the day with family, walking the streets, checking out the crafts for sale, and always bringing home a box (or two) of freshly made fudge.
